Welcome to Tswii-Safaris
Up until now, access to the remote and wild reaches of Botswana’s Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve has been limited to a privileged few. This is the land where game has roamed freely for untold generations and continues to do so
Tswii Safaris has now opened these remote areas by offering guests a rare opportunity to visit these areas.
In the Delta we have access to remote islands which are accessible only by boat, where you will experience an abundance of wildlife and an opportunity to view some of the more than 400 different species of birds found in the Delta.
In the Moremi area we have exclusive access to a unique camping site on the banks of the Khwai River called CAMP DIZHANA.
The Khwai River is regarded as one of the best areas for game viewing in Botswana, where you will find lion, hippo, buffalo, elephant and other game peacefully grazing on the banks of the Khwai River, making it a photographer’s paradise.
We offer two itineraries from which you can choose, depending on your level of being adventurous.
You can either boat into the Delta from the comfort of a luxury mobile safari where you will be treated like royalty and experience a unsurpassed safari expedition. You will encounter the mystique surroundings of the Okavango Delta with its unique flora and fauna. When returning from the Delta you move on to Camp Dizhana where you will share in the complete remoteness, blue skies, blazing sun sets and enjoy the rare abundance of wildlife and be enthralled by the true African ambience.
For the less adventurous, we offer a direct opportunity to visit and experience Camp Dizhana. You can do your own self drive, catering and camping experience or you can make use of our facility to hire a fully equipped camp, with all the bells and whistles included.
We offer and guarantee exclusivity, service and a unique wildlife experience.
In the words Alan Ramsay : “ There is something about the smell of the Okavango Delta that reminds you how much of that sense we’ve lost on becoming human . For us, unlike most creatures who sniff before they look, vision is primary. But we haven’t lost too much to inhale the wild bush and water aromas of the Delta and remember that, for thousands of years, places like that were our home.
